[edit] Bio

A journeyman fighter, Horwich has always had a quiet confidence, instilled by his mother and supplemented by his strong religious faith. Matt likes to quote from Mark 11:23, “The faith of the mustard seed can move mountains.”

He earned his nickname “Suave” for some fancy talking. With a strong wrestling background already in place, Matt has improved his striking and other techniques, and has a reputation for always delivering an entertaining, and action-packed bout for the fans. He scored a huge win at the IFL - World Grand Prix Finals, knocking out Benji Radach.

In Horwich's first title defense on February 29, 2008, he would lose to Miletich Camp's Ryan McGivern. this signifies the second consecutive loss to McGivern, as both battled to the end of the match with McGivern scoring the unanimous decision victory.

[edit] Personal life

Matt got married the day after losing his title. [1]
