Matthew Halliday (born July 14, 1979 in Auckland) is a motor racing driver from New Zealand. Apart from one season in the Australian Porsche Carrera Cup, his career has involved various single seater series in New Zealand, Europe, and the United States. In 2007, Halliday's competitive participations have been limited to three rounds of the Champ Car World Series with Conquest Racing.
Following two seasons in Formula Holden, he moved to the United States and ran in both the Indy Lights and Toyota Atlantic series in 2001. In 2002 he moved to the Infiniti Pro Series but was injured after two races. He finished 3rd and 4th the inaugural A1GP races at Brands Hatch and continued to have a very successful season with the team. He ran the first three races of the 2007 Champ Car season for Conquest Racing. However, his sponsorship ended after 3 races and he was replaced by Jan Heylen.
