Matt Gregg, born in Cheltenham on 30 November 1978, is a footballer currently playing with Eircom League side UCD.

Matt began his career at Torquay United F.C. before moving to Crystal Palace for a six figure sum in 1998. He had loan spells at Swansea City & Exeter City before moving to Bray Wanderers in October 2001.

Gregg impressed at Bray and earned a move in April 2003 to then champions, Bohemians. He spent 4 years at Dalymount Park without ever establishing himself as first choice and moved to UCD in time for the 2007 season. He made his UCD debut in a 1-0 defeat to Sligo on 1st April 2007 and has maintained himself as first choice keeper since then. Gregg has started his UCD career solidly with 5 clean sheets in his first 8 appearances. Gregg traded places with Darren Quigley through the 2007 season but faded to clear second choice by its end. Gregg appeared to have rejoined Bray Wanderers for the 2008 season but he re-signed for UCD when Darren Quigley left the club. He has began the 2008 season as first choice keeper.
