Matt Giese (born September 27, 1978) is an American comedian, actor and screenwriter.

Matt Giese was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Matt has two brothers, one sister, and is a childhood friend of guitar legend Andy Mckee, and director David Valdez. He currently resides in New Mexico with his wife and three children.

In 1995 Matt got his start, starring in an independent horror film, Ancient Curse. After having multiple poems and short stories published, he wrote his first screenplay in 1997, Among The Dead.

In recent years Matt has become a much respected stand-up comedian. In 2006 he was a finalist in the Great Southwestern Laff Off. Placing in the top 3 out of over 80 comics.

In 2007 Matt will be seen on the big screen for the first time in Fanboys, directed by Kyle Newman. Largely a background actor, Giese played many different roles in the film; THX Guard, Tusken Raider and fulfilling a dream of his by playing an Imperial Stormtrooper. He has also donated as a producer for the 1 Second Film, which is scheduled for release in 2007.

Matt is currently working on his next two screenplays, one of them a horror project, and the other is a teen comedy.
