Matt Finders, a native of Livermore, California, is the trombonist with the Tonight Show Band under Kevin Eubanks.
When 12, he chose the trombone because his brother already had one. He began playing jazz and went on to study at San Jose State University. He joined Clark Terry's big band, where he played alongside Branford Marsalis. He also played for a number of successful Broadway musicals, including Cats, 42nd Street, City of Angels, Secret Gardens and Starlight Express.
