Matt Carmichael born on July 7, 1977 in Ottawa, Ontario is a minor league hockey Goalie that has played in a number of leagues and teams other his career. Matt was named second team All-SPHL in the 2006–07 season when he went 26–19–3 with a 3.40 goals against average and a 90.3 save percentage. He was also the SPHL Player of the Year in 2005–06 after leading the league with a 2.75 GAA and a 91.9 save percentage, finished the season with 23–11–2 record. He was named SEHL Goalie of the Year, All-Star and Championship Series MVP in 2003–04 with the Huntsville Channel Cats. Matt is currently the number one goalie of the Huntsville Havoc.
