Matt Brennan

Matt Brennan (born October 1936) is a retired Fianna Fáil politician from the Ireland who was a Teachta Dála (TD) for the constituency of Sligo-Leitrim.
Brennan was first elected to Dáil Éireann on his second attempt in the February 1982General Election and retained his seat until retiring at the 2002 General Election.
His father, Peter, was a founding member of Fianna Fáil and his uncle, Dr Martin Brennan, also represented Sligo-Leitrim from 1938-48. Matt Brennan has also been a county councillor.
