Matt Beckett (born 13 July 1973)[1] is a Welsh former-professional cyclist who was born in Lancaster. He represented Wales in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. He was briefly one of the directors of Welsh Cycling in 2006.[2] He married Rhiannon in 1997 and they have a child. His occupation ouside of cycling is a Design & Technology supply teacher.
