Matson is a parish in the hundred of Dudston and Kings Barton, in the City of Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.

Matson is steeped in the history of Gloucester. During the English Civil War, specifically during the Siege of Gloucester, King Charles made Matson House his Headquarters.

Today, Matson is best known for the Council Estate that was built in the parish after the Second World War. Parmjit Dhanda MP for Gloucester lives in Matson with his family. Gloucester Ski Centre is in Matson on the slopes of Robinswood Hill.
