Mato Neretljak (born June 3, 1979 in Orašje, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian-born Croatian footballer who plays as a defender. He is currently playing for South Korean club Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
He started his professional career in 2000 at NK Osijek for which he played until 2002. Then he transferred to Hajduk Split and spent three seasons with the club before leaving it for his current club Suwon Samsung Bluewings in 2005.
Neretljak is also an occasional member of the Croatian national team and won up to this time a total of 10 international caps in which he also managed to score one goal. He made his debut for the team as a substitute player in the second half of their friendly match against Greece on April 25, 2001 in Varaždin, but had to wait for two and half years to win his second cap in the first qualifying play-off match for the Euro 2004 against Slovenia on November 15, 2003 in Zagreb. At the international level, this match was both his first competitive and his first in which he played all 90 minutes. He scored his first and up to this time the only goal for Croatia in their friendly match against Germany on February 18, 2004 in Split. Neretljak was also a member of the Croatian squad at the final Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal, but spent all of the team's three group matches on the bench. He played most recently for the Croatian team as he appeared in both of their two matches at the 2006 Carlsberg Cup in Hong Kong.
