Matilda Mecini (Albanian: Matilda Meçini); born July 10, 1988 in Shkodra, Albania), is the newly crowned Miss Albania 2008.
Mecini is a student in the University of Tirana. She is a Basketball player and has also done some modeling in Italy and of course her homeland Albania. Matilda beat out 37 other candidates to win Miss Albania 2008.
Mecini will represent Albania in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant, which will be held in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.
