Mathieu Darche (born November 26, 1976 in St. Laurent, Quebec) is a professional ice hockey player. In 2006, he signed with the San Jose Sharks of the NHL; he also played for the team's AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks. He has played for the Duisburg Foxes of the elite German league DEL. He also split four seasons between the NHL and AHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators, and their affiliates. During the 2004–05 NHL lockout, Darche spent a full season with the Hershey Bears of the AHL. On July 2, 2007, Darche signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning
Mathieu is the younger brother of current Kansas City Chiefs long snapper J. P. Darche.
