Mathew Valencia

Mathew Valencia (born December 12, 1983) is an American actor and voice actor who has been involved in film and animation. Mathew was born in Fontana, California; both of his parents have Cherokee ancestors. His father is a California Highway Patrol officer and his younger brother is Joseph Ashton, a voice actor. At his high school, Valencia was an honor roll student in his advanced placement classes, a starting player on his club soccer team, a captain of his varsity track and cross country team, and participated in the 2001 Rose Parade with his high school marching band, in which he played trombone.

The older brother of Joseph Ashton, Mathew (spelled with one T) may be best known as of 2004 to English-speaking audiences as the voice of Robin/Tim Drake in Batman-related animation from 1997 to 2000.

Currently he is attending the Art Institute of California/Orange County where he is majoring in Media Arts and Animation.
