Mate Maleš (born January 13, 1990 in Šibenik), is a Croatian player who, as of February 16, 2008, plays as a Midfielder for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, on loan by Dinamo Zagreb.
Maleš started his football career with HNK Šibenik. Hajduk Split brought him to their youth system, but when he was all set to sign first proffesional contract, he decided to sign for Dinamo Zagreb instead. Since he's not eligible to play first league football till June 15, 2008, he was loaned to NK Lokomotiva. His former teamates in HNK Šibenik were Ante Rukavina and former Dinamo Zagreb player Gordon Schildenfeld who is now a member of Beşiktaş J.K..
In 2006 Mate Maleš was selected for the national under-21 team.[1]
