Mate Dragičević (born 19 November 1979 in Makarska) is a Croatian football striker who currently plays for Persepolis F.C. in the Iran Pro League.
He has enjoyed successful stints at several clubs, with Croatian giants Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb the standouts and has won two Prva HNL Croatian First League championships. His season at Dinamo was stunted due to injury, however he made nineteen appearances for Hajduk Split between 2004-2006 scoring six goals.
Dragičević was recently signed by Australian A-League club Perth Glory, who's coach Ron Smith described the striker as "a strong player in the air and will be damaging if we get the ball into him in and around the box" and adding "he has comes to us with a real competitive fire in his belly. He has an outstanding attitude and plenty of ambition which I like to see in a player. I’ve seen a number of games that he has played and I think he has good basic instincts and with the right sort of service he’ll be a big hit".
On January 20, the closing day of the Iranian winter transfer season, Dragičević signed a 6-month contract with Persepolis F.C. in the Iran Pro League.
He scored his first goal for Persepolis against Abu Moslem Mashahad after 88 minutes on 10 Feb. In his third match for Persepolis, he scored against Peykan after 18 minutes on 15 Feb.
