Mat Hames (born July 27, 1971) is an American independent filmmaker known for his documentaries Last Best Hope, Fighting Goliath: Texas Coal Wars, and other film and television productions. He is a principal of production company Alpheus Media. In addition to productions for PBS, Sundance, and Discovery Channel, Alpheus Media, Inc. has created films and commercials for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. A portion of their interviews with more than 250 cancer survivors appear on the Livestrong web site, and in a best selling book, LIVESTRONG (ISBN 0767921380).
