Matías Emilio Delgado (born December 15, 1982, Rosario) is an Argentine footballer playing for Turkish side Beşiktaş J.K..
Delgado started his career in the youth team of CA River Plate. He also played over 50 top division games for Chacarita Juniors before deciding to test himself in Europe. The 23-year-old has spent the past three years with FC Basel 1893 in Switzerland, scoring 41 goals in 113 top-flight matches. On June 27, 2006, Delgado was transferred to Beşiktaş J.K. of Istanbul for $6.5m. He declared his target as taking the place of Riquelme in the national team. He admires the skills of Pablo Aimar.Delgado scored his teams 2 goals in their 2-0 win over Zurich in the Champions League final qualifying round, having also scored in the 1st leg which had finished 1-1 in Switzerland.
