MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) is another trade centric exhibition and convention centre in the City of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MECC, established by Matrade (Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation) primarily aimed to promote exports and facilitating Malaysian companies, especially small and medium enterprises, to do business and to network. In line with their emphasis on export promotion, Matrade has also allocated a permanent exhibition space for 400 local companies at the exhibition hall on the second floor.
Operated since 2 January 2007, MECC being highly focused in hosting trade related events. MECC claimed to be a convenient and cost-effective way to source or sell in the region. With its breathtaking landscape and its unique arch through the building, the MATRADE building is another architecturally-acclaimed icon in Kuala Lumpur which can be seen from miles away.
