Description

Photo by an unknown photographer of Mathilde Felixovna Kschessinskaya (1872-1971), Prima ballerina assoluta of the St. Petersburg Imperial Theatres. She is costumed for the role of Flora in Marius Petipa's ballet The Awakening of Flora, 1900.

The photograph was taken by an unknown photographer at the studio of Alexander Alexandrovich Pasetti, photographer to the Imperial Russian court of the Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna (Pasetti died in 1903). I (MrLopez2681) obtained the photo by way of ebay.com.
