Category:Match grade firearms
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Match grade refers to something suitable for a match, that is, able to compete with others.
In firearms, the term is used to distinguish between expensive and accurate ammunition as well as gun parts, which are designed not to vary more than one millimetre when fired from a bench rest, from the cheaper and less accurate ones. Match grade equipment is used by military and law enforcement sharpshooters and by civilian benchrest shooters.
