[edit] June 2008

You have been blocked for a period of 12 hours from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 18:04, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

{{unblock|is the 12-hour block up yet? I will repost the Iconoplast Desgins page, without "spamming" this time, because it's an important piece of information, and I resolve to make useful contributions and to avoid conflicts of interest

Request reason: "is the 12-hour block up yet? I will repost the Iconoplast Desgins page, without "spamming" this time, because it's an important piece of information, and I resolve to make useful contributions and to avoid conflicts of interest."

Decline reason: "User's stated intention to repost the page indicates user does not understand block rationale. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:30, 12 June 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

  • You will not be unblocked if you intend to repost the article. Please familiarize yourself with our conflict of interest guidelines; we are not allowed to put up articles about subjects with which we are closely involved. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 16:39, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Comment I also think the user needs to promise to stick with one account and also not insert the link to Iconoplast's website into many articles, which is also spam. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 17:46, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
You should also bear in mind that if necessary, URLs persistently inserted may be blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites. WilliamH (talk) 20:51, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Request reason: "I understand the block rationale, but I still think that the work done on these theatres should be historically noted. On the One King West page, the architects are noted, I though it would be fine to note other contributors. I don't think it necessary to delete the entire page. As for the usernames, I promise not to sign in again with another username. Please reconsider putting the page back up. I will not spam it in other websites, nor will I edit it with the intention of promoting this company."
