The purpose of cruftwatch is to sort through, well, cruft!
The information might be merged, deleted, transwikied, or otherwise. The idea is to draw attention to it and form consensus.
This might one day evolve into a project hub (yeah right), so if you wish to add to this page or ask a question feel free to do so.

[edit] Projects
[edit] Zelda
The goal: upkeep. Everything else is done! This was the first project before I even started thinking about a centralised cruft-tracking page.
Upkeep tasks:
- Keep an eye out for Twilight Princess stubs.
- consider creating "(gamenamehere) characters" pages for the larger games (OOT, LA done).
[edit] Harry Potter
The goal: clear out cruft. Too much and too varied to list everything, highlights follow.
- merge shops into core street pages (Diagon Alley done, others possibly not)
- merge creatures into core page (underway)
- merge nonnotable characters (?)
[edit] Warcraft
The goal: clear out cruft. Too much and too varied to list everything, highlights follow.
- merge minor characters into "list of" pages (done!)
- Vfd the custom maps (20% complete)
Well I followed your example and merged 90% of the Warcraft articles into the following;
- Races in the Warcraft universe
- List of Warcraft characters
- Organizations in the Warcraft universe
- Locations in the Warcraft Universe
- Items in the Warcraft universe
So well done for giving me the idea. :), by all means remove the Main article: [What ever topic here] if you feel it is non notable and doesnt deserve its own article (the mere presense of a red link could spawn a stub ;)) - UnlimitedAccess 01:32, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Monopoly
- check the contents of Category:Monopoly for useless pages/stubs.
- transwiki nonencyclopedic content.
- currently discussed at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Monopoly strategy nonencyclopedic?
[edit] Doom
- merge monsters into "list of" collections
