Yohanes Widodo | a.k.a Masboi | a.k.a Dodo (lahir di Tugumulyo, Musi Rawas, Sumatera Selatan, July 15, 1974) adalah seorang pekerja media/radio Sonora di Palembang, Indonesia dan sekarang sedang mencuri ilmunya orang Belanda di Wageningen University The Netherlands.

Masboi. This nickname suddenly emerged when he studied at University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta in 1994. It is started by Martinus Agung Widodo, a.k.a Cak Agung. When he met Masboi, he always addressed and called: "Hallo, Boy!" It is followed by other friends. Since that, it was accustomed to Masboi to use a new nickname: Boi, si Boi, or Masboi.

Masboi was born in Tugumulyo, Musi Rawas, South Sumatera, Indonesia. When he was in junior high school (SMP) he has started to love writing activities, especially for writing stories, poems, etc for 'wall magazine' (majalah dinding) in his school.

Because he was interested to become a priest (pastor, or romo, Catholic leader), he pursued his study at Saint Paul Seminary in Palembang, conducted by SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang. Here, Masboi joined as editor of "Campana" magazine.

Because of 'something', he could not pursue his ideal in priesthood. Then, in 1993 he went to Yogyakarta. In Yogyakarta, Masboi studied at Communication Department at the University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta. He changed his ideal to become a journalist. He had a dream to be a journalist of Kompas Daily or Tempo magazine.

Wben he was a student, he had some student activities. He was a President of Student Senate of Faculty of Social and Political Science. He was involved in student press of Atma Jaya, publishing PASTI Student Newspaper.

In 1999, after graduated from his study, Masboi came back to Palembang and worked at local radio station, Radio Atmajaya (now, Radio Sonora Palembang), as Studio Chief or Station Manager.

Since 2003, he was interested in pursuing his study, he started in hunting scholarship. In 2006, he has been accepted as a candidate of Stuned scholarship conducted by NESO Indonesia, and he took English course at ELS Jakarta for five months.

At the same time, Masboi also get scholarship from Wageningen University. Since Augustus 20, 2007, Masboi has been living in Wageningen, to take scholarship or 'sekolah gratis' in MSc program in Applied Communication Science Wageningen University and Research Center The Netherlands.

In Wageningen, Masboi develops an online radio called Swara Wageningen and Paguyuban Swara Wageningen. He is also involved in Indonesian Student Association or Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia di Wageningen as Vice President.
