[edit] References
To get an article through an AfD safely, you need to make sure that there are clear references for the key points. Simply having them in the external links section will not be enough. Take a look at WP:CITE for some help at doing this. I hope this helps! LinaMishima 01:42, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Another page referencing masters athletics
Just noticed another page referenceing masters track and field after seeing the AfD for this page. It can be found at Masters (athletics). David D. (Talk) 18:00, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Now tagged for merge. GregorB 21:13, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think that most of the other article should be merged here, but a new article on "Masters sports competitions" or such should be created as an umbrella. Masters (athletics) mentions rowing and there are golf tournaments for older competitors.--Hjal 15:53, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Merging might look funny/redundant in this instance. But it's probably advisable, since a search of this site might take one to the shorter article and not the one more fully fleshed out. So I support merge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TrackCEO (talk • contribs) 10:55, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
