[edit] Mass
So is it mass-produced surrealism? Does it have to do with the availability of our information technology and the preponderence of its useage to affect art of today? In music and art, does the technology of the tools allow for an oversaturation? Or the ease of use promote a celebration of technology instead of the composition?

[edit] Deletion from german Wikipedia
The Massurrealism article has been deleted three times from the German Wikipedia (see: de:Wikipedia:Löschkandidaten/11. September 2007#Massurrealismus (gelöscht)), which is relevant to any discussion about the validity of this article.--Ethicoaestheticist (talk) 13:18, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Notability concerns
There seem to be a number of self-styled Massurrealism groups on the Internet. I'm not convinced though that the movement exists outside of the blogosphere. The two reliable sources listed are articles from Art and Antiques and Computer Artist. I have no way of knowing whether they mention the movement in passing, or are substantive reviews. I've searched for other references online, but haven't been able to find anything.--Ethicoaestheticist (talk) 20:06, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- I share Ethicoaestheticist's concerns about the notability of this movement. My searching has found nothing in any reliable source on the internet, nothing, indeed, beyond self-promotional websites. If references in reliable third-party sources are not found, the article will have to be put up for deletion. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 00:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] James Seehafer's explanation of the origin of the term Massurrealism
Here it is in his own words:
- When I started painting and exhibiting my work, people would ask: "What type of work do you do, James?", and I was at a loss for a simple explanation - which prompted me to think of means to clarify what my work consists of.
