Talk:Massively parallel

Real life examples please? Or is this still a purely theoretical concept? --I am not good at running 21:02, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- The term definitely exists, but a redirect to Parallel computing may be more appropriate than a dedicated article Blufive 21:10, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Integrate in "parallel computing" article?
There seem to be little confusion in this area: there is an article about "massively parallel" and another one about "massive parallelism" - both should be joined, also the acronym "MPP" = massively parallel processor is missing and should be added!?
[edit] Web page link to Ultra High Throughput DNA Sequencing reference
As I read through your "Massively Parallel" references, I noticed the link to a commercial web site under "ultra high throughput DNA sequencing". Solexa Inc. has recently commercialized a DNA sequencing technology that is 10X the throughput of existing technologies plus we have some nice graphics describing the technology on our home page. Is it possible to create a choice of web links under "ultra high throughput DNA sequencing" to include Solexa.com?
Thanks, Glenn

[edit] Merge with MPP
This article is mostly about computing/processing, so I think overlapping Massive parallel processing might as well be merged here. What do you think? --Kubanczyk (talk) 15:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
