[edit] Masset and Old Masset

this page needs to be split, or there needs to be Masset (disambiguation) so as to deal with Old Masset and, as I recall, the chiefly name Masset the placename comes from; there's a Chief Masset in the hsitory of hte marine fur trade; like Edenshaw and Maquinna it's a "dynastic" name (not quite the right word) and has its own history, and more htan one person has had it. Old Masset maybe could be the same article as the correspondng IR, as has been done in some other cases, but I don't know t he area well enough to say.Skookum1 (talk) 14:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
