Do we still call this the "Central Artery," now that the Big Dig is "complete?" I've stopped hearing that designation in traffic reports. I thought the term "Central Artery" referred to the old raised highway structure through downtown Boston.

As far as I know, the road is still officially designated the "Central Artery", no matter what the media calls it. Unfortunately, since it's been a while since I lived in the area, I can't say for sure. Anyone care to post a clarification? --EmiOfBrie 12:17 CST 11/26/2005
Here's a Mass Turnpike Authority site dated September 16, 2005. It continues to use the term "Central Artery." Fg2 01:11, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
