MassHighway is beginning to install the correct signs for Route 228. On Route 53 both northbound and southbound both prior to and at Queen Anne's Corner trailblazer signs for Route 228 South toward Rockland were installed in mid-April. As of 4 July 2007 the first reassurance sign for 228 South on Pond Street in Norwell has been installed. The work is not done, however. The wrong-way concurrency trailblazer signs on 228 South on approach to Queen Anne's Corner are still standing. Also, all the signs at the intersection of Whiting and Derby streets are still standing. (See article) Ed 11:54, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

As of 18 July 2007 another sign has been installed, this time on Route 228 South approaching Queen Anne's Corner. The right turn is for Route 53 North, without the multiplex. This sign, however, is about 50 feet behind the old sign indicating the Route 53 North/Route 228 South multiplex which is still standing. We're getting closer ever so slowly to matching the information in the infobox. Ed 22:37, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
