Was this a New England Interstate route? It keeps the same number from VT - NH - MA and was around as early as 1894. Tckma 01:54, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

No - all New England Interstates were one- or two-digit. That system left three-digit numbers for state routes. In 1929, present 119 was unnumbered in New Hampshire. NH 119 was numbered by 1939. --SPUI (T - C) 07:06, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
