[edit] Real name
Folks, IMDB is not as reliable source for Mason's real name. The biography section relies on user contributed information and is no different than a blog or a wiki. And it's not just me... let me quote Jimbo Wales from an email conversation I had over the topic of Aurora Snow's real name:
- "Is there any better source than the IMDB article? IMDB relies on user-contributed content, and I see no reason why it would count as a remotely valid source in this case.
- If there is a valid source (newspaper, magazine, book?) then I would assume it can be introduced no problem.
- But as it stands now, we are likely to simply be echoing someone's smear campaign against someone else entirely if we just quote IMDB."

- Whether or not IMDb is itself a reliable source, I only gave it as one obvious example; there are many other references to Amber Herrel being her real name: [1] [2] [3] [4] etc. Elementary Google searches indicate clearly that it's her real name. Not to mention that it's already given as one of her aliases (so there are no ominous WP:BLP issues here), and that's the name she's used when credited in "real" movies like her cameo in Showgirls. It's her real name. Xihr 20:55, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

- And not one of the sources you mention can (in my opinion) be classified as a reliable source. I would suggest you take a good hard look at what constitutes good examples of sources. Tabercil 03:57, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
