Masurius Sabinus

Masurius Sabinus was one of the most important Roman jurists of the first century. He was of Plebeian origin, and became head of the Sabinian or Cassian law school in 22. He became an equestrian at age fifty. His main literary work was Libri tres iuris civilis (Three Books on Civil Law).
