Masumi Okada (岡田眞澄 Okada Masumi?, September 22, 1935 – May 29, 2006) was a Japanese actor, entertainer and master of ceremonies. He was born in Nice, France, to a Japanese father who was a professional artist, and a Danish mother. His older brother was E. H. Eric, who was also a relatively well-known professional actor in Japan. Okada was married three times, and died only seven years after his most recent child (a son) was born. He died of throat cancer in Tokyo, Japan at age 70.
Okada is perhaps best remembered by North Americans as Newspaper Reporter "Ito Mura" in the P-Productions tokusatsu television series The Space Giants and as "Dr. Jules Masson" in Ishiro Honda's Latitude Zero.
