Master Zap

HÃ¥kan "Zap" Andersson is a Swedish musician and software engineer. Known under the name "Master Zap", he has released music online since 1997, when he was one of the original 15 on the mp3.com website started by Michael Robertson in the same year.

In 1999 Zap started the band Beat Symphony together with Michael W. Gilboe. The band appeared on Swedish morning TV and recorded a music video shot in a steam engine museum.

Zap also has a career as a software engineer. He is the author of two free (originally shareware) software programs for music synthesis, Stomper, the drum-sound synthesizing software, and Little Drummer Boy, a drum sequencer.

Currently Zap is persuing a career in computer graphics, working with rendering technology for mental images.
