Massarah

Massarah (also spelled Maasarah or Masarah) in Helwan, Egypt, with a population of about 30,000 is the biggest city in Helwan and lies on the bank of the Nile river. It is a southern suburb of Cairo.

Local industry includes a phone company and cement making. The area also has hot sulphur springs.
