Massaponax, Virginia

Massaponax is an area of Spotsylvania County, Virginia USA, just east of Spotsylvania Courthouse and just about 1.5 miles south of the Four Mile Fork area. During the mid 1990's the big pull to this area was the Massaponax Outlet Center, home to a number of retail outlet chains. During 2004 development began, and soon a large number of retail chain store such asBest Buy, Target. Restaurants such as Red Robin began to pop up.

During this time also Massaponax began to develop into a large residential community. With mid to upper class homes at an estimated cost of $250,000 to $500,000 according to tax assessments done by Spotsylvania County.
