Route 98 is a continuation of Rhode Island Route 98 in Uxbridge ending at Route 146A. It crosses Route 146 just prior to ending. There is no interchange, but access is possible via Exit 2 on Route 146. Route 98 extends from Route 146A, the Lydia Taft Highway, to the Rhode Island border.[1] This highway covers a distance of about 3.5 miles. It is a very historic road which passes through Aldrich village, and a number of buildings on the National Historic Register. [2]. Massachusetts Highway 98 joins Rhode Island Route 98 at Burrillville, Rhode Island. Massachusetts Highway 98 is exclusively within the town limits of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. One of the historic buildings is the Friends Meetinghouse which is at the northern terminus of Route 98. Famous abolitionist Abby Kelley Foster was a member here.
