Route 39 is a southwest-northeast route through the towns of Harwich, Brewster and Orleans, on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It begins and ends at Route 28, acting as a bypass route for those not wishing to follow the route through Chatham.

The route begins in Orleans, at a fork in the road with Route 28 which also includes Quonset Road. After a third of a mile, the road itself passes into Brewster (the houses on the southeast side of the road are still in Orleans for another mile) at the intersection with Lowell Drive. The road passes into Harwich one-half mile past the southern Orleans-Brewster border. The road travels another 1.7 miles before intersecting with Route 137. The road passes through the center of Harwich, intersecting with Route 124 just before turning left coexistently onto Sisson Road. It follows this route another 1.4 miles before terminating at Route 28. The entire route takes 8.2 miles (13.2 km).
