Massachusetts Academy (comics)

The Massachusetts Academy is a fictional prep school in the Marvel Universe. It first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #151 (Nov 1981), created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod.
The Massachusetts Academy is one of the oldest and most respected college preparatory schools in the United States. It was founded in the 1700s in the Berkshire Mountains in Snow Valley, Massachusetts.
Emma Frost was previously headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy where she trained her first group of Hellions.
After the Hellions were killed, the Academy was later used as the headquarters for Generation X.
