Masood Akhter Khan

Masood Akhter Khan (Pashto: مسعود اختر خان) born April, 1949 in a Pashtun family is a well known Pakistani artist. He studied Fine Arts from National College of Arts Lahore in the 70's. He is known for his "Attention to Detail" in Miniature work, oil paintings and unique ink and pen work.
He joined Pakistan Television Corporation as a production designer, he won best production designer awards twice in the 80's and 90's, he is also credited with designing the Pakistan Television Television Corporation award, he did a series of portraits which were presented to the President of the USA by the Pakistani Prime minister at that time. He has also done series of paintings for Army, Navy and Airforce, his work is displayed in various well known places like Maritime museum Karachi. Islamabad presidency. Northern area house. His work also includes some murals. Many describe him as a perfectionist. He quit PTV in late 90's. He lives in Islamabad, Pakistan.
