Mason Reese (born April 11, 1965 in Los Angeles)[1] is a former child actor in numerous television commercials in the 1970s, particularly for Underwood Deviled Ham. Reese's peculiar precocity, red hair and slight lisp made him a very recognizable figure, and was a frequent guest on the Mike Douglas Show.[2]

Reese was the subject of the song "Mason Reese" by Alice Donut on their 1988 debut album, Donut Comes Alive. The song is a reflection on the destinies of former child stars.

Reese appeared as himself in a 1990 short film directed by Brett Ratner called Whatever Happened to Mason Reese? that can be seen on the DVD of Rush Hour . He has also been known to attend genre conventions catering to comic book, horror and nostalgia fans. Reese appeared at the Chiller Theatre Convention in Parsippany, New Jersey in April 2007 and May 2008.[3]

Mason Reese was the owner of NowBar on Seventh Avenue and St. Luke's place in New York City. The establishment is now closed.[citation needed]
