Masis (Armenian: Մասիս) is a city in Armenia in the Ararat province (marz), located on the left bank of the Hrazdan River, 14 km south of Yerevan. Large railroad commodity station of international significance, serving Yerevan. Population of 21,376 people (according to a 2001 census). The city is one of the closest Armenian cities to Mount Ararat and Little Ararat. The mountains are visible from most areas of the town.

Masis lies between Yerevan and the ancient historic city of Artashat. It's about 8 miles south west of Yerevan towards Mount Ararat. It has a town center and a marketplace. A total number of approximately 70 5-story buildings, each with 40-50 apartments. It also has a number of villages stretching up to the Arax River bordering turkey. At nights a person can see the Kurdish village lights on mount Ararat and its mountain ridges. It has 4 seasonal weathers, with very hot(though short) summers and very cold winters.
