After the release of Mas Flow Gold Edition, Luny Tunes's popularity was increasing, and many artists outside the reggaeton genre wanted to collaborate with them. As artists outside reggaeton wanted to collaborate with them, many reggaeton artists wanted to have the Luny Tunes sound in their music. This started the creation of the sequel to Mas Flow, with Mas Flow 2.
Mas Flow 2 was a joint venture with reggaeton artist Baby Ranks, as he was featured in virtually every song in the album. Many of reggaeton's biggest names were featured in the album, such as Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, Zion y Lennox, Tito "El Bambino", Hector "El Father", Voltio, and many others. Mas Flow 2 was one of the most critically acclaimed Latin albums of the year, and was considered to be substantially more superior than the previous album. It featured some artists outside the reggaeton genre, such as Frankie J, Cultura Profetica, Tony Tun-Tun, Spliff Star, among others. It is acclaimed as one of the best reggaeton albums ever. Because of its success, many Reggaeton fans consider Luny Tunes to be the "Kings of the Reggaeton Beats". Mas Flow 2 is, to date, considered one of the best reggaeton albums ever released (according to AMG).
