[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion
Hello. When you nominate an article for deletion, could you please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks. The JPStalk to me 19:32, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Also an empty or silly article can be removed with one of the many tags that put things in CAT:CSD. -- RHaworth 08:39, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

- Hey -- Sorry if we're all piling on you here, but if you're going to use speedy deletion, you should click the link I just left and look at the criteria for speedy deletion. Even very bad articles are often not ones we can speedily delete; for instance, Justshannen.com, on which I changed your speedy tag to a proposed deletion tag. Proposed deletion can be used for ANY article, and is a good idea when the article would be deleted uncontroversially (just don't replace a prod tag if someone removes it: send it to AfD!) Thanks for your work. :) Mangojuicetalk 14:18, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:KwesiBotchwey2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:KwesiBotchwey2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:06, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] this user sign
Salamoona aw pakhair raghlay. I just saw your modification of the pashtun sign..it seems the picture you have used is not properly copyrighted. It will need a new license to be used, finding proper pashtun related free images is a bit of problem. So do exercise caution when uploading otherwise you'll see the picture removed as fast as its uploaded.

[edit] Wikibooks
Hello! Can you contribute to the Urdu Wikibook (And if you can create a book about Pashto)?
Thanks and Successfuly!
[edit] Heading for AFD pages
When you create a page for an AFD discussion please be sure to include a linked heading at the top (like ===Page name===), as this means it can be seen as a nomination on the log page. If you leave this out the page appears to be a comment on the AFD above it, as there is nothing to differentiate it. I've corrected the last two you nominated. Cheers, Yomanganitalk 14:39, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

- A poem
Marwat can't be trusted to look after your dog,
he's already killedten cats, a turkey and a hog.
Could he care for a kitten, a doormouse or some crows?
I wouldn't want to find out, for fear of losing those.

[edit] Ali's wives
But Ali did have other wives after Fatima. There are too many sources for us to doubt that. Zora 18:34, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] link to Persian
Hello, when you want to link to the article about something Persian, please do not link to Persian, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as Persian people, Persian language, or Iran, by writing out Persian or Persian. Regards, Jeff3000 20:56, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Marysville Pilchuck High School
I'm not sure it's fair to speedy-delete this after just 3 minutes...he created an entry for his school, and he's adding to it. Give him some time to flesh it out. Jim Douglas 01:33, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
See: WP:BITE
- Hey Marwat! Yeah, it can be a tough call...sometimes your first impression is that something is gibberish. But that might be just because when we monitor recent changes, we're not just catching vandalism; we're also watching legitimate editors in the process of working through their edits. Anyway, to put this page in perspective, take a look through the articles here [1]. Some are pretty good, some are minimal. But they'll get better over time. Jim Douglas 02:03, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Emmanuel Espín
I agree with you on this one! (But the term is 'non-notable', not 'non-noticeable'.) The criteria here would be WP:VAIN and WP:N. And of course nothing in that article is verifiable. Jim Douglas 02:34, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Guli Danda
Hi, I've rewritten the first paragraph of this article as it was a direct copy of the text from the 'brief introduction' external link. Generally text from other websites cannot be directly copied into wikipedia, please see WP:COPYRIGHT. exolon 12:59, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mehrbani
Mehrbani Marwat Khana for the barnstar, with regard to the picture..we need something which is free for use, and we need to attach a proper copyright description like public domain for example. If you are struggling tell me and I'll sort it out..

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Major Shabbir Sharrif Shaheed.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Major Shabbir Sharrif Shaheed.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

I am sorry, it was misunderstanding. Thank you for your contribution.
Take care.

[edit] Welcome to the AMA!
Heyo, Steve Caruso here. :-) I just received your message on my talk page. Glad to have you aboard the Association of Members' Advocates. :-)
The only real instructions that I can give you are to read through "cover to cover" Wikipedia:Guide to Advocacy, the Wikipedia:AMA Handbook as well as Category talk:AMA Requests for Assistance which outlines how we field Advocacy requests. Besides that, I encourage you to introduce yourself to the other Advocates. They have much experience in helping out fellow Wikipedians through the Dispute Resolution Process as well as insight towards what to expect.
If at any time you're in need of assistance with a case, consider me your lifeline (like on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, only I don't run out after three tries :-) ). I'm here for you whenever, however over whatever (no matter how big or small). Sometimes Advocates need Advocacy, themselves, as working with people embroiled in disputes can, at times, be taxing.
I also strongly recommend that you install the Wikipedia:AMA Alerts system on your talk page, as it is how we communicate with one another. When there are new cases, announcements, or if we have a meeting going on, we broadcast them (and when nothing is going on, the template goes invisible).
Other than that, I both want to express my thanks for your volunteering and wish you good luck. :-)
