[edit] Just a note

I actually think it was appropriate of you to go to Bugs talk to express your concern over him continuing the drama. Just the threat of a possible block, then the follow up of "I don't care then" really bothered me. In my subtle way, I think I was saying, you did what was right by closing down that ANI for the time being, and even telling Bugs you didn't think he was helping was fine too. Just the block threat... Gwynand | TalkContribs 13:40, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Heh, yes, I know. It was rather inflammatory and would have been best avoided. Thanks, Martinp23 13:43, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Is this a joke? I hope so. Gwynand | TalkContribs 17:14, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

(e/c) I hope so too. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 17:16, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

No, for now I really don't wish to contribute. Hopefully this will change in the future as the community comes together (if it doesn't, I expect it will fall in on itself). I don't think me being here at the moment is going to help that goal, either! This isn't a feeble attempt at drama, and my status will have hardly changed from before, except that I won't be suddenly appearing from nowhere! Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Community was prepared by me before something happened IRL which made me realise I coudln't carry on here, not at the moment. I'd still like to see that discussion go on, if anyone cares about it :). Thanks, Martinp23 17:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Best of luck to you then. I'll go rephrase my snarky comment left there, I assumed worse than you intended. Cheers, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 17:34, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Urgh, I meant to do this before. Apologies to baseball, wknight, kingsely, or anyone else I've offended recently. I hope that even if I've been somewhat "direct" and brash, you've been able to see what I mean behind that. Sorry. Martinp23 17:43, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm not familiar with you but you seem like a reasonable albeit burned-out Wikipedian. Been there, done that, and breaks of various lengths have done wonders for me in the past! Don't be a stranger. —Wknight94 (talk) 18:35, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
