Sorry, but I reverted your edit to Molecular geometry. XeF6 is not octahedral. It is distorted due to there being 7 pairs (8 electrons from Xe and 6 electrons from 6F giving 7 pairs). SF6 is a better example. --Bduke 07:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
