[edit] Welcome!
Hi MarkusHagenlocher, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :
Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Hi Markus, I can't see the Image:BP-T52.jpg on commons; are you sure you got the filename right? Cheers — Matt Crypto 12:22, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Peter Maffay
This page is still under translation, and the banner at the top requests you do not edit it as a courtesy until the banner is removed. Please could I ask you, as I am creator of this article, not to edit it or link it to the other wikipedias in German and Swedish, until the article is completed. Thank you. [edit] Software Freedom Conservancy
You added this term to SFC.... it has exactly *one* Google hit!
The purpose of disambiguation pages is to differentiate between common, likely and/or reasonable searches. It is not a complete list of uses.
More importantly, something with just one Google hit is almost certainly not notable. Its abbreviation is even *less* notable... please do *not* add this again. Thank you.
P.S. On the other hand, if it was a typo this might not apply.

[edit] photo permission
Hi Marcus,
Hello,
I am the general editor of a five volume academic reference series on the backgrounds to the Bible. One of my responsibilities is to gather photos for the project. I encountered your photo on Wikimedia Commons "triticum durum" and even though it is licensed under GNU, my publisher would like me to request your written permission to use it in my book outside the restrictions of that licensing. I would need non-exclusive world rights in all languages for both print and digital formats. Certainly you will be given credit in the work for your photo. If you are willing, please let me know how you would like the photo credit to read.
I look forward to hearing from you either through this discussion page or an email to jkwalton5@gmail.com.
