[edit] Speedy deletion of Hands Held High

A tag has been placed on Hands Held High, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This article doesn't really add anything that's not already stated in the album article. As it's not yet been a single there's not a compelling reason to have an article for it all on its own.

If it is to be kept, a complete rewrite is probably in order to make this at least readable and encyclopædic in style. I also don't think we should comment upon interpretations of the lyrics, as in their recent interview with Rock Sound magazine the band have stated that all of the songs can be read in several different ways.

Don't get me wrong. I think this is a great song. But this is a poor article and doesn't really serve a purpose.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Onesecondglance 07:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Untitled 4th Studio Album

A tag has been placed on Untitled 4th Studio Album, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

The words are just copied from the artist page, there is not enough information to warrant an album page at this point and it should not occupy an ambiguous title at any rate.

[edit] Shock Value II

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shock Value II, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.rap-up.com/2007/10/28/timbaland-working-on-shock-value-ii. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 18:50, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Untitled 5th Album

A tag has been placed on Untitled 5th Album requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
