Welcome!

[edit] ATTENTION

Hi Mark. Ummm just talking to you bout my page you just deleted. I thought Wikipedia was for articles that were about things that mattered. That people wanted to read. And I just made one like that. AND being new to wikipedia.... So please, why couldn't you tell me why it was so bad before deleting it.

Hi there, this topic is already covered by a category [[Category:Lists of companies by country]] there for there is no requirement for the page as the category pages are automatically updated. I notified it for deletion and obviously an admin agreed with the reason for deletion. Please sign messages on talk pages with ~~~~ so people can know whom has posted the message MarkBolton 11:53, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inappropriate use of speedy deletion

Hello, and Welcome to the Wikipedia, MarkBolton! You recently made an inappropriate nomination for speedy deletion on the page/pages You Are Empty. While the nomination may have been made in good faith, it did not properly follow the criteria for speedy deletion. Inappropriate nominations may be viewed as vandalism and subsequent inappropriate nominations for deletion may result in your account being banned or even your account being blocked.

Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:

And some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, and Wikiquette; also, you can sign your name on any page by typing four tildes: ~~~~.

Best of luck, MarkBolton, and most importantly, have fun! JayKeaton 16:10, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletion of Wet Set Magazine page

Hi there. I am working to improve the omorashi article by adding to the "In other countries" section. Wet Set Magazine is one of the only semi-mainstream Western publications that really deals with this kind of fetishism. The info came from their website, which pretty much exists (like any other magazine's website) to sell subscriptions. I don't work for the people and I don't want to flood wikipedia with ads. I just wanted to put some kind of stub there to avoid red links. I toned down some of their language after you pointed out that it sounded like an ad. If you can see any other way to make this clear, please feel free to edit it. Thanks, Fsecret 16:17, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

I have expanded the article to also include mention of coffee table art books published by Wet Set with explainations on the feminist slant given by photograher Amanda James' artwork. Hopefully, this gives a broader view of the publication in the light of contemporary sex culture world-wide.Fsecret 20:52, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

I have placed further comments on the discussion page of Wet Set Magazine proposing that following the alterations the reason for speedy deletion have been negated MarkBolton 07:45, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
