[edit] Isaac Peyrere
I am not going to pretend to know anything about Judaism or the french military worth talking about, but why on Earth is this person notable? Do they meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines? Please reply on my talk page. J Milburn 20:58, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Another editor has discussed the matter with me. J Milburn 21:08, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- You may want to fill the article out to "wikify" it--make links to other articles that will expand your parenthetical comments, and add appropriate categories (as I did with his death and birth). M. Peyrere's notability is not that strong, but If you arrange to link his page from a few other articles in wikipedia, that will strengthen the case for keeping the page. --Walter Görlitz 21:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ephraim Kanarfogel
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ephraim Kanarfogel, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.yu.edu/stern/index_sub.asp?264. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 22:33, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding this edit
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Londres, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you.
This is a template message. Just because you're my friend, doesn't spare you the traditional trout whacking that site moderators dish out for mildly bad behavior. Shalom (Hello • Peace) 03:52, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Ketuba of yom vayosha
A tag has been placed on Ketuba of yom vayosha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Chakira (talk) 16:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
